Ohhhhh snap !!!! Defiance of the Heart was an angsty, emotional roller coaster that had me literally gasping and a few times in shock. London and Holland is a modern day Romeo and Juliet romance that had me hooked from Book 1. This book picks up right where Book 2 left me which was essentially with my jaw hanging on the floor. The obstacles these two go through. The Lies. The deception. Everything is against them and there were multiple times that my heart stopped while reading. I lived for this storyline !!! It grabbed me whole. Not characters were amazing in this one. Holland being smart, determined and stubborn but I loved that about her. And London, the bad boy image with the heart of a saint he was just delicious. This is now the second duet from Monica I’ve read and l have got to say I’m a huge fan. She’s nails the angsty read yet again and takes me on a journey that has hooked
