ok ok Dirty Headlines, one of my most anticipated reads this summer. I've been dying for this one after all the teasing LJ Shen has done. She's the boss and he's the boss, but she didn't know that when she had her one night with him and stole his wallet. Now Judith aka Jude has to deal with him daily and Celian Laurent is a hard man to ignore. So let's get down to it shall we. This story starts off with one hell of a one night stand. And it's clear early on that Celian Laurent is a dominating sex on sticks hard to ignore alpha hottie. He's got a bit of a chip on his shoulder, and he doesn't give two shits about what anyone has to say. He's crass and blunt and holy hannah if that doesn't make me fall in lust with him almost immediately.

"I can't fuck you here," "But if you want to get dicked tonight, you can come over after work. Separately of course."

Like dayum ok so I know right I know. Where the hell does he get off, and in real life I would probably kick him in the balls and spew some choice words at him while marching my ass to HR to lodge an immediate complaint. But this is fiction and there's just something about those fictional jerks that I absolutely can't get enough of. Call me crazy but I like what I like and like I said FICTION. FANTASY, there's something hot about what he says. It's shocking at times but I couldn't deny that I felt myself heating up at his words. And they get better as the book goes along. So now Jude, I love this girl. She is smart, no she didn't bow to Celian and in most instances she gave it right back to him. She's got a weight on her shoulders a mile wide and heavy as hell, she's struggling to make ends meet and take care of her ailing father and so when she meets Celian I can't lie and say that I was definitely chanting get it girl get it. But Celian well he's emotionally unavaialable, he's all about his job and there's that chip I mentioned earlier. Jude is a bit of the same if I'm being honest. So these two were actually the perfect match. They battled verbally and then they resolved all that heated verbal sparring with some hot as hell sex and make sure there's a fan on while reading this cause it's damn hot. But here's the thing about this book and in particular Celian Laurent that makes this a five star read for him. Ya see the fucker snuck up on me. Of course I feel in lust with his filthy mouth, his confidence, and even his cockiness but then I fell in love with him as this story continued. You'll hopefully understand why when you read this book. I am smitten completely smitten with him, and I'm even smitten with him and Jude especially. Their story made my romance loving heart swoon and smile and it made me freaking giddy.

Another fantastic read from LJ Shen, and her writing just keeps getting better and better. Now I wait for whatever she may throw our way next.
