Protect your feels, because they are about to get hit!

This book will hit you right in the feels! Lissa's life has been ripped apart. An accidental death leads to her fiance and family walking away from her, the loss of her job and probation. In an effort to try to continue to survive she takes a job states away and meets Dan. I don't want to give anything away, but this book has all the feels in it. Your heart will break for Lissa's past and cheer for her future . . . if she can deal with the past and get out of her own way. I absolutely loved this book!!!!!!!

Couldn't put it down!!

This was a new to me author. Wow, when I first started reading, I wasn't sure what to expect, but she quickly drew me in and lured me into a false sense of security. That was well and truly shattered later in the book. So many bombshells get dropped you won't know where to look, or how to feel when your heart is torn in 2.

There is a reason Stephie Walls is one of my go to authors

This author just has a way of writing a story and creating characters that grab you and won't let go. Each character just had the ability to grab a hold of you and make you want more of them. These kinds of characters were one of the things that I found that really made the story one that is emotionally investing and soul gripping. Everything that Stephie Walls created came together perfectly to create an emotional story of redemption. Lissa and Dane were just characters that were able to show how their friendship was able to grow into something more.
